* We are unofficially endorsed by On2, the makers of the VP series of codecs (VP3, VP6, VP7) as a reliable codec pack to use for decoding video. They originally provided their own codec pack, but dropped it in favour of ours as it was of a higher quality and better maintained.
* We are officially endorsed by the Matroska Project, the individuals who designed the MKV format. This maybe the exception? Have you installed it?Įndorsements for this package found here: I also know that you recommend installing Media Player Classic, ffdshow, Haali's Media Splitter which this package installs. I understand your "standard" position on codec packs. I haven't added any codec packs to the tools sections as many causing problems if you install everything that is included.
